Challenge

ABB E-Mobility needed a scalable and consistent design system that meets the high demands of the e-mobility industry. The challenge was to develop a flexible system that adheres to existing brand guidelines while enabling efficient collaboration between design and development teams.

It needed to offer designers and developers a centralized, intuitive platform to efficiently manage components, streamline the creative workflow, and ensure a unified visual language across all digital products.

Solution

Through close collaboration with developers and the design team, a modular design system was created, standardizing colors, typography, spacing, and UI components. The implementation of design tokens in Figma ensures a flexible and easy-to-use solution that maintains brand consistency while accelerating development processes.
